What Date Will SASSA Pay
The payment date of SRD is the day on which SRD ( Social Relief of Distress ) award payments are given to qualified South African individuals. The South African government provides the SRD grant as a temporary form of financial help to individuals who are in severe need of aid due to poverty, unemployment, or any other condition that prohibits them from sustaining themselves or their families.
The award was established in reaction to the COVID-19 epidemic and its impact on the economy and people’s lives. It offers qualifying candidates a monthly payout of R350. To receive your payment, there must be a particular date set for receiving the grant and the date is as follows.

Sassa Payment Schedule 2025-2026
SASSA payments are scheduled for the first day of each month. However, the specific date may vary due to weekends and public holidays. In cases where the first day of the month falls on a weekend or public holiday, the payment will be processed on the last working day before the first day of the month.
