Why Is July SRD Still Pending?
Why Is July SRD Still Pending?
If you have applied for the SRD R350 grant and waiting for your July Srd payment only to receive a “Pending” status, you may be wondering what this means about your enrollment process. Many recipients may find their applications “Pending” as SASSA is trying to keep up with the influx of current applications which may cause a system delay.
If your application is marked as “Pending,” it indicates that it has not yet been accepted. SASSA is now scanning your details in this case so that they can be validated. However, the wait can be especially distressing for those relying on this grant to cover essential expenses. Let’s look out for the reasons why your July Srd grant is still pending.
July SRD Payment Pending
When your July application is marked as “Pending,” it means that your application is still undergoing the approval process. SASSA is currently in the phase of scanning and verifying the information you provided. It is important to note that there is no action required on your part; all you need to do is exercise patience while SASSA carries out the necessary checks.
Remember: SASSA encourages its beneficiaries to keep an eye on their SRD grant status for any updates. Once your application undergoes the verification process, the agency will then validate your name, surname, and ID number with the Department of Home Affairs.
SASSA uses your ID number matched against various databases (such as UIF, SARS, and NSFAS) to ensure that you are also not a recipient of any other grant or a source of income. After this, SASSA scans your ID and phone number through a fraud risk scoring process. Should your application then become successful, you will receive your payment through the Post Office, Cash Send, or your chosen bank.
