Who is Eligible For Sassa Support In 2025
To be eligible for NSFAS funding, students must have certain qualifications, including:
- Be a South African citizen
- Attending or intending to enrol in a public university or TVET college
- From a household with a gross annual income of less than R350,000
- Meet the academic requirements of the chosen program of study
How To Change Your SASSA Bank Details 2025
Please follow these steps to update your SASSA bank details
- If you are a SASSA SRD R350 approved payee and want to change your bank details, please enter your ID number below. An SMS containing a secure link, exclusive to you, will be sent to the mobile phone number you registered during registration. What is the date for SASSA 2025
- Click the link in the SMS and follow the instructions carefully.
- If you choose to pay to a bank account, please ensure that you are the owner of the account. SASSA cannot deposit your benefits into someone else’s bank account. If you choose the option of transferring money through one of the major banks, please make sure that the mobile number from which you receive SMS is registered in your name. SASSA cannot pay your benefits to someone else’s registered mobile phone number.
Please also note that the new banking details will only be used for future payments, after verification.
