Dates For SRD Grant 2025-2026

SRD Grant Payment Date

The South African government formed the SRD Grant (Social Relief of Distress Grant) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The SRD grant aims to provide financial assistance to those who do not have any financial means to support themselves.

The grant has offered critical financial aid to millions of South Africans, assisting them in dealing with the economic consequences of the pandemic. SASSA SRD Grant Dates 2025-2026

If your SRD grant application is approved, payments are made every month. The payment date for each month may vary. SASSA payments are made on the first of each month. The actual day may differ owing to weekends and other holidays. If the first of the month falls on a weekend or a public holiday, the payment will be made on the previous working day.
