STEP 1: CHOOSE AN APPLICATION METHOD

Provide your personal details
You will receive a Reference number, an OTP and and a link to click
Click on the provided link, fill in your OTP and verify your account
Fill in your surname and ID number

STEP 2: AGREE TO THE T&C’S

Read and agree to the clauses on the Declaration and the Consent
Read and agree to the clauses on the You and Your Special COVID-19 SRD Grant document

STEP 3: PROVIDE YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS

ID Number
Full Name and Surname (as printed on your ID Document/ ID Card)

STEP 5: RECEIVE AN SMS

Applicants will receive an SMS with their banking information. The SRD R350 Grant application is now live as a result of getting this SMS.

STEP 6: SASSA VERIFICATION AND VALIDATION

SASSA compares your personal information (ID number, name, and surname) to a database maintained by the Department of Home Affairs. SASSA compares your ID number to recognised databases such as UIF, SARS, and NSFAS. Fraud risk scoring is performed in collaboration with fraud protection partners, and your ID number and mobile number are checked against recognised databases.

Sassa provides payment options for applications. The applicant or recipient may chooses for one of theses methods to accept payments for their Social Relief grant 2024-2025;

Collected in cash: from Spar, Pick n Pay, Checkers, Shoprite, Boxer and USave stores. The Post Office will no longer be a collection point for the R350 grants.
