SRD Grant (Covid-19 Social Relief of Distress Grant)

  • The amount is R350

Old Age Grant

For people above 60 years old, but below 75 years old:

  • The amount is R2 080, from 1 April 2023 to the current date
  • Upcoming increase: from 1 October 2023, the amount will be R2 090
  • Previous amounts: R1 990 (from 1 October 2022), R1 980 (from 1 April 2022), R1 890 (from 1 October 2021)

For people above 75 years old:

  • The amount is R2 100, from 1 April 2023 to the current date
  • Upcoming increase: from 1 October 2023, the amount will be R2 110
  • Previous amounts: R2 010 (from 1 October 2022), R2 000 (from 1 April 2022), R1 910 (from 1 October 2021)

War Veteran’s Grant

  • The amount is R2 100, as of 1 April 2023 to the current date
  • Upcoming increase: from 1 October 2023, the amount will be R2 110
  • Previous amounts: R2 010 (from 1 October 2022), R2 000 (from 1 April 2022), R1 890 (from 1 October 2021)

Disability Grant
