Registering for a SASSA Disability Grant may be an essential step toward improving the quality of life for South Africans who are disabled. This grant is intended to give financial aid and support to persons who, owing to their disability, are unable to produce a sustainable wage.

As part of their application for a Disability Grant, applicants must submit to an evaluation by a physician designated by the state. The assessment will determine whether you qualify for the condition grant and help the SASSA-approved practitioner diagnose your temporary or permanent condition.

We will give you a complete overview of how to apply for a SASSA Disability Grant in this guide, including step-by-step directions and important information to help you through the process.
