When Can I Remit NSFAS Online Application 2025

NSFAS 2025 ONLINE Application period includes;

NSFAS Start Date; 21 November 2024
NSFAS End Date; 31 January 2025

Note: Applications for NSFAS funding for the academic year 2025 must be submitted before the due date

Who Qualify To Apply for NSFAS 2025

For the 2025 academic year, you can only apply if you are;

Valid Email And Password
SASSA grant recipients
South African citizens or permanent residents
Applicants whose combined gross household income is not more than R350 000 per year
Persons with disabilities whose combined gross household income is not more than R600 000 per year.

Create a myNSFAS account via this link: https://my.nsfas.org.za/ or download the NSFAS App on Google Play or App Store. Your ID number will be your username.

Apply now:

Click on the “Apply’ tab to update your personal information and upload your application supporting documents, as indicated.

Expect to receive the following if you are on the NSFAS Scheme.

UNIVERSITY

Accommodation
As per the actual costs charged by the university (costs for private accommodation must not exceed costs for university residence)
Transport (up to 40 km from the institution) R7 500 per annum
Living allowance R15, 000 per annum
Book allowances R5200 per annum
Incidental/personal care allowance of R2900 per annum for students in catered residences
