How To Apply For R350 Grant Sassa 2024-2025
Applications for a SASSA Grant can be done in 2 ways, which are, in-person SASSA office or online via the SASSA services website.
Applying In-Person;
To apply in person, you must go to a SASSA office near you, however, If you are unable to attend the SASSA office because you are too sick, aged, or disabled, a family member or friend may apply on your behalf. They should bring you a letter authorising the application. The application form may be obtained at the SASSA office and must be filled out in the presence of a SASSA officer.
If you or your nominated person are unable to complete the application form, a SASSA official will be able to assist you. After completing the application form in its entirety, you will be given a dated stamped receipt that includes the name of the SASSA official who aided you with your application. You must save your receipt as evidence of application. The application procedure is completely free.

- Register as a new user on the SASSA services website, by clicking the yellow “Register” button on the home page.
- You will be required to provide your personal information
- Log in to the SASSA services website using your username and password.
- Click on “Apply for a Grant” and then select the type of grant you wish to apply for.
- Fill in the grant application form by providing all the required information.
- Print the SASSA-generated affidavit and have it certified by a commissioner of oaths. Print, sign and submit the Bank Payment Form with your affidavit.
- Upload the required certified supporting documents in PDF format

- Your ID number
- Your ID document type (ID document/ temporary ID)
- Confirm your ID number
