  • Visit the official app store for your device which can either be; Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  • Download and Install the Moya App
  • Enroll and create an account
  • Log In and locate the R350 Grant Application
  • Complete the application form with the required information
  • Upload supporting documents
  • Cross-check to confirm if your application is complete.

R350 Grant Qualification Requirement 2025-2026

To receive an R350 grant you must qualify for the requirements of the grant. To qualify for the R350 grant;

  • You must settle in  South Africa
  • You must be a South African Citizen, You must be an exile in South Africa or You must be an Asylum Seeker in South Africa with a valid Section 22 permit or visa
  • You must be a Special Permit Holder in South Africa (under the Special Angolan Dispensation, the Lesotho Exemption Permit Dispensation, or the Zimbabwe Exemption Permit Dispensation)
  • You must be between the ages of 18 and 60 years old
  • You must meet the means test, with an income of R624 or less per month
  • You must be jobless and NOT be receiving financial assistance from any other source
  • You must have inadequate financial means to support yourself
  • You must NOT be receiving any other social grants for yourself
  • You must NOT be contributing towards or qualified for UIF payment
  • You must NOT unreasonably refuse to accept employment or educational opportunities
  • You must NOT be receiving a salary from NSFAS (National Student Financial Aid Scheme).

  • Bank details pending: This indicates that the application or reapplication was received, but no banking information or preferences were provided. Applicants must submit their banking information on the SRD website.
  • Reapplication pending: This indicates that no reapplication has been received. Applicants must apply.
  • Period Pending: It means that the reapplication was received successfully and that verification of the application for the period is still waiting. Applicants should verify the status of their applications later in the month.
  • Period Approved: This indicates that the application was authorized for the period. Applicants can check the payday for more information on when they might anticipate their money.
  • Period Declined: It implies that the application was denied for the specified period, as well as the reason for the rejection. Applicants must file a request for reconsideration.
  • Canceled: This signifies that the grant has been revoked. Applicants can reactivate their grants on the SRD website.
