Eligibility Criteria To Apply For NSFAS Application 2025?
- Must have email and cell phone number
- All SASSA grant recipients
- Be a citizen of South Africa or a permanent resident with a valid ID number
- Be a first-time entering TVET college or university student
- Household income shouldn’t be more than R350,000 per year
- Household income shouldn’t be more than R600,000 per year
Required Documents For NSFAS
These are the supporting documents when applying for NSFAS
- Applicants must have a copy of their student ID/birth certificate
- A copy of the parent/s or guardian/spouse ID
- Individuals living with a disability must have a Disability Annexure A form of income
- Proof of income
- Applicants who are recognized as vulnerable children by the Department of Social Development must have a completed declaration form

- Death certificate
- Marriage certificate
