Please, note that you are eligible for the National Students Financial Aid Scheme funding 2025 before submitting your application via the mynsfas student portal.

Bursary Covers For NSFAS 2025?
The funding bursary for the National Students Financial Aid Scheme(NSFAS) 2025 covers the cost of tuition and some additional expenses concerning your academic studies, which include:
- Accommodation: NSFAS covers the costs of on-campus or off-campus student housing
- Meals: It provides a meal allowance to help cover the cost of food while you are studying
- Textbooks and study materials: The NSFAS can provide you with a study allowance to purchase the required books and materials for your course
- Travel expenses: It provides a travel allowance to help cover the cost of travel to and from campus
Required Documents For NSFAS
These are the supporting documents when applying for NSFAS
- Applicants must have a copy of their student ID/birth certificate
- A copy of the parent/s or guardian/spouse ID
- Proof of income
- Individuals living with a disability must have a Disability Annexure A form
- Applicants who are recognized as vulnerable children by the Department of Social Development must have a completed declaration form
