Nsfas application form 2025 2026 deadline, NSFAS Application Form 2025-2026

The National Student Financial Aid (NSFAS) has application forms that can be accessed on the NSFAS application portal for the 2025-2026 application period. The form will be available on 21st November 2024 to 31st January 2025. The forms must be filled and submitted on the NSFAS website www.nsfas.org.za. make sure all the information you will provide is accurate and have all required documents ready. NSFAS Application Dates 2025-2026

The online application will officially open on;

• Application opening date: 21st November 2024
• Application closing date: January 31, 2025

NOTE; no late application will be accepted.

 NSFAS Online Application 2025-2026

To get NSFAS application forms follow these steps;

• visit NSFAS Application portal at www.nsfas.org.za
• locate the top right menu of the NSFAS homepage, click on the “myNSFAS” tab
• Then create a “myNSFAS Account” to continue the application
• download the forms in PDF format or continue filling the forms online.
• after completing all blank paces click on the “APPLY” tab
• Upload all the requested scanned copies of your supporting documents
• Click on “Submit” to forward your applications to NSFAS online for evaluation

NSFAS Allowance 2025

UNIVERSITY

• Accommodation; As per the actual costs charged by the university (costs for private accommodation must not exceed costs for university residence)
• Transport (up to 40 km from the institution) R7 500 per annum
• Living allowance R15, 000 per annum
• Book allowances R5200 per annum
• Incidental/personal care allowance of R2900 per annum for students in catered residences

TVET College

• Accommodation in an urban area is R24,000 per annum
• Accommodation in a peri-urban area is R18,900 per annum
• Accommodation in a rural area is R15,750 per annum
• Transport (up to 40 km from the institution) R7,350 per annum
• Transport R7000 per annum
• Incidental/personal care allowance R2900 per annum

This form is only for applicants who are 34 years old or younger and whose parent-child relationship with the provided parents/guardian cannot be verified by NSFAS:

• Death certificate/s
• Divorce Decree
• Proof of legal guardianship
• Marriage certificate
