The NSFAS Online Application 2025-2026 Academic Intake will be active from 21st November 2024 and Ends on 31st January 2025. If you want to apply online for NSFAS 2025 please, go to www.nsfas.org.za and send an online application form for your funding.
Eligibility Criteria For Applying For The NSFAS
If you are a citizen of South Africa and intend to enroll in school in 2025, or if you are currently enrolled in a public university or TVET college, and you match the following criteria, you are eligible for an NSFAS bursary.
- Must have an SASSA recipient and automatically qualify for the bursary
- A combined household income of not more than R350 000
- Individuals with disability household income not more than R600 000
- Must have email and cell phone number
Documents Required When Applying For NSFAS
Students with disabilities must provide:
- A completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form
Students recognized as vulnerable children must provide:
- An applicant who is recognised as a vulnerable child by the Department of Social Development must provide and Vulnerable Child Declaration form completed by a social worker
Other Documents Requested If Applicable

- Divorce Decree
- Proof of legal guardianship
