The South African Social Insurance Authority (SASSA) would like to inform all Social Security grant recipients about important changes to their payment schedule for 2025.

Sassa guarantees that even if a beneficiary is unable to withdraw funds within the first few days after the Sassa Grant payment is completed, the Sassa Grant will always be available. In a statement, the agency apologized for any inconvenience or frustrations these changes may have caused.
Since Sassa previously announced the Sassa grant payment dates for 2025-2026, they have made it clear that these are the only changes taking place at the moment. Adding further, Sassa said, “In the event of any changes to the payment schedule, Sassa will communicate accordingly.” Beneficiaries have been urged to use their Sassa cards instead of withdrawing all their funds. Sassa has also stated that beneficiaries should not rush to withdraw their money.
