Sassa Payment In December 2025

Sassa’s payout date for December varies based on the type of grant of the recipient, the processing of the application, weekends and holidays. Provided below is the payout date for December;

• Older Persons or Pensioners Grants: 1 December 2025
• Disability Grants: 4 December 2025
• Children’s and all other Grants: 5 December 2025

NOTE: Typically, the first week of each month is when SASSA pays grant beneficiaries. Before paying any other grant types, SASSA pays the Older Persons Grant, Disability Grant, and then any other grant types. The SRD award is not paid by SASSA on the same day each month; rather, the payment date varies each month depending on when SASSA processes applications.

SRD Status Check Method In December 2025

SASSA Can be checked through these three steps.

Online status check:

You can check the status of your SRD Online by visiting the official SASSA website and clicking on the “Check your grant status” button. You’ll need to provide your ID number and the type of grant you applied for to access your status. If your application has been approved, you’ll be able to see the payment date for June.

SMS status check:

You can also check the status of your SRD by sending an SMS with your ID number and the type of grant you applied for to 49101. You’ll receive an SMS back with your application status and payment date for June.

Check phone status:
