Provided below is the November payout date for Sassa grants ;

• Older Persons or Pensioners Grants: 2 November 2025
• Disability Grants: 3 November 2025
• Children’s and all other Grants: 6 November 2025

NOTE: The first day of every month is set aside for SASSA payments. Nevertheless, if weekends or federal holidays are involved, the precise date may alter. The payment will be processed on a working day before the first of the month if the first day of the month occurs on a weekend or a holiday.

When Do I Expect Sassa Grants?

SASSA typically pays recipients in the first week of each month. SASSA initially pays the Older Persons award, then the Disability Grant, and finally other award categories (Child Support Grant, Foster Child Grant, Care Dependency Grant, War Veterans Grant).

The award scheme does not pay the SRD award on the same day every month; the payment date is determined by when SASSA processes applications and varies from month to month.

What Will the 2025 Sassa Payout Method Be

SASSA provides recipients with the option of receiving payments either through monthly deposits into their bank accounts or via direct cash payments. To qualify for these payments, it is necessary to have an active bank account and cell phone number registered under your name with a licensed financial institution in South Africa.

• You can make payment at any bank ATM, using your SASSA gold card
• You can also make payment at a collection point like Pick n Pay, Checkers, Shoprite, Boxer and USave stores

NOTE: To prevent spending hours waiting in line to receive your funds, it is advisable to postpone collecting your grant money for a few days and thus avoid the lengthy queues on payment dates.
