Sassa R350 Grant eligibility criteria

In order to qualify for Sassa R350, Applicants must be;

  • Be South African citizens or permanent residents.
  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Not be receiving any other form of government financial support
  • Have little to no income or financial resources.
  • Provide accurate and verifiable personal information during the application process.

Sassa R350 Grant Online Application Required Documents

All Sassa applicants are required of certified copies of supporting documents. Applicant6s must have in possession the following documents;

  • Your citizenship (South African citizen/ permanent resident/ refugee)
  • Your ID number
  • Your ID document type (ID document/ temporary ID)
  • Confirm your ID number
  • Your title (Mr/ Mrs/ Miss)
  • Your surname
  • Your full name
  • Your email address
  • Your chosen password (must be at least 8 characters, containing at least 1 of the following: uppercase or lowercase letters, numbers, symbols or special characters) (must not be a common word or name, or a close variation)
  • Confirm your chosen password
  • Your cellphone number (your 10-digit South African cellphone number, starting with 0)

How Do Apply For SASSA?

The Sassa grant is open to all South Africans who are eligible for the grant. To apply for SASSA,

  • Visit the official website of Sassa service website.
  • Click on ” Register” to register as a new user
  • Log in to the SASSA services website using your cr4edentials; username and password.
  • Click on “Apply for a Grant”
  • Select the type of grant you wish to apply for
  • Print the affidavit generated by SASSA and have it certified by an oath commissioner. Print, sign, and mail your affidavit together with the Bank Payment Form.
  • Upload certified supporting documents in PDF format
