How To Apply SASSA SRD
The South Africa Social Security Agency was established by the government of South Africa in the year 2005 to provide grants to people who are in need and the vulnerable. The agency instituted what has become known as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD). It is this particular grant that has become known as the SASSA SRD.
Even though the relief grant is supposed to have ended, the agency continues to support people because there are still people who earn below the minimum wage and who are in distress. To make it easy for people to apply for grants, the agency has introduced an online application system. This system can be accessed from the comfort of your home. This information will guide you through this online application process for the year 2025
