When Are The SASSA Payments September Dates 2025

If you receive your payment through a bank account, you can expect to receive your payment on the 1st of September 2025. If you receive your payment through cash payment at a designated pay point, you can expect to receive your payment between the 5th and the 7th of September 2025.

Amount SASSA Pay In 2025

The amount SASSA pays depends on the type of grant and the applicant’s eligibility criteria. Below are details about the types of scholarships and the amounts that SASSA pays:

Old age allowance:

The recipients who are below 75 years old can see a boost of R100 in their payments with a total monthly payment of R2,180 while those above 75 will also see an increase of R100 with a total monthly payment of R2,200.

Disability benefits:

This grant will only pay you if your medical records are approved by SASSA and this amount can see a significant boost of R100 with the total amount of R2,180 per month.

Child support:

The child support grant will increase by R20 for the 2025 year and the grant will be R530 per month.

Social Relief Distress (SRD):

Its amount is from R350 to R370 for eligible beneficiaries to cope with their daily needs and tasks.

How Do I Collect My SASSA 2025 Grant Payment?

If you’re a beneficiary of any of the SASSA grants, then I’m sure you have selected a payment method with which you receive your grant’s payment. If so, you’ll collect your February SASSA Grant payment via your chosen payment method.

The SASSA payment methods include bank payment, ATMs, and Retailers like Shoprite, U-Save, Boxer, Pick n Pay, and Checkers.
