How to Send SASSA SRD Reconsideration Appeal 2025

Here are the steps to appeal or file a reconsideration request.

In-Person

This is a way where you need to visit the designated post office to submit your reconsideration application.

Visit the Sassa office.
Fill out the application form.
add all the needed documents.
send the form to the officer.

Apply Via WhatsApp

use your mobile phone dialer dial “082 046 8553” and save it as Sassa grant.
Now open your WhatsApp account and select “082 046 8553” as your desired contact to start the chat.
Send “COVID” to that number and follow the prompts.

To check your SASSA R350 grant balance, you have several convenient options available:

USSD Code: Dial 1347737# from your registered mobile number. Follow the prompts and select the option to check your grant balance. You will receive an SMS with your balance details.
SASSA Online Portal: Visit the official SASSA website and navigate to the grant balance section. Enter your ID number, cellphone number, and any other required details. Submit the information, and your balance will be displayed on the screen.
SASSA Mobile App: If you have the SASSA mobile app installed on your smartphone, open the app and log in using your credentials. Locate the balance section and click on it to view your available funds.
